About this event: Asia Times Square invites you to the Lunar New Year Festival, Year of the Rat. The festival celebrates the coming of the lunar year in Asian culture. Hong Kong Market Place Flower Festival
Unique to the Lunar New Year celebrations is the flower festival at Hong Kong Market Place at Asia Times Square. Find beautiful, fresh, and exotic flowers and greeneries displayed for sale at the Hong Kong Market Place throughout the festival.
Games
Featuring traditional games for all ages. All cultural games and activities are designed to help the community in “Preserving Traditions, Promoting Cultures,” the motto of the square. Winners will get prizes, so get ready to participate!
Sweet treats
At the sweet treat booths, you can take home some of the most delicious Southeast Asian delicacies! Satisfy your sweet tooth and try a variety of jams and preserved fruits that can be purchased by the pound such as mứt chùm ruột or xí muội. From classic dishes to Laos, American, and Vietnamese favorites, you will find a mix of these foods at the festival.
Carnival games
The LOH Foundation, one of the event sponsors, has provided carnival game booths throughout the festival, so our little ones can play all day for free. If you’ve been to a carnival lately, this is a definite deal!
