Texas State Fair
If you have not gotten a chance to experience all the fun and excitement of the Texas State Fair, then you’re missing out! Food, Food and More Food
It’s true. Texans fry almost anything. Midway Rides
The State Fair Midway features more than 70 rides. Sore 500 feet in the air in the Top o’ Texas Tower as it sweeps you across views of downtown Dallas. Get a breathtaking view of Fair Park as the aerial track of the Texas Skyway stretches 1,800 feet over the colorful sights of Midway. The Dentzel Carousel is a must-ride at the Texas State Fair that takes you around and around on its antique, king horses.
Exhibits
Visit the Creative Arts Building as contestants showcase arts and crafts, culinary creations and performing arts. Witness demonstrations from Lone Star food icons in the Cutco Celebrity Chef Kitchen and sample tasty, unique dishes at the State Fair of Texas Competition Kitchen. Let the kids interact with one another as they create their own special dishes at Kids Can Cook, a fun way kids learn the basics of cooking. Take a peak at the thousand pound butter sculpture and don’t forget to attend the Oak Farms Theater production of “The Backyard Circus” and “The World of Magic.”
